The Waters hotel, on Bathhouse Row, is a great place to stay in Hot Springs, Arkansas!
My husband has never loved driving long distances, but also is the one who drives when we travel. It’s not that he thinks I’m a bad driver (if you asked him who was the better driver between the two of us, I’d win all day every day), but we both grew up in families where dad always drove.
On our recent road trip, to check off States #32, 33, and 34 for the bigs, we had a long driving day that was going to be over the hub’s limit. We decided to stay in Hot Springs overnight to break up the trip, and I’m so happy we did! If you’re driving from Tennessee to Texas, this hotel makes a great halfway(ish) stop! Or, if you’re heading to Hot Springs for the weekend, read on to see why we think The Waters is the best hotel choice for you.
The beautiful and modern The Waters hotel hosted us for the night in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Here are some photos and info from our stay!
The Waters is in a fantastic location – right across the street from Bathhouse Row and Hot Springs National Park. It’s in a very busy and lively part of town. There are so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. We loved to see so many people out walking around.
Valet is available at the hotel for $15/day. There is also a limited amount of street parking available, if you’re willing to drive around a bit waiting for a spot to open up. We loved the personalities of all the valet staff. All of the valet guys we came in contact with were super friendly and helpful.
The check-in process was quick and easy. The sitting area off of the check-in desk has the biggest windows for all that beautiful natural light to come through.
Little man liked watching the people and cars go by!
There’s also a “giant crystal” in the lobby. My son LOVED this and stared at it for what seemed like 5 minutes.
When we made our way up to our room, I couldn’t get over the cute black & white colored hallway with the honeycomb tile. LOVE! If you want to see pictures and learn about the room, see our post: Room Tour of The Waters Hotel, Hot Springs.
The fitness center was located on the 1st floor, off of the lobby. It had some free weights, an elliptical and a couple treadmills.
Saving the best for last….
My absolute favorite thing about The Waters was the beautiful rooftop! See for yourself:
This cute little courtyard area was a level down from the rooftop .
The kids enjoyed looking at the wall and finding little scenes within the painting.
Such a relaxing spot with great views! We spent some time up here before heading to dinner.
I hope you enjoyed this property tour of The Waters in Hot Springs, Arkansas! Heading to Hot Springs in the future?! You’ll love this hotel and it’s great location.
