160+ family trips | 35+ kid-free getaways
Plan your next kid-free wknd👇🏼

We honestly don’t have just one. We’ve loved each We honestly don’t have just one. We’ve loved each island for different reasons, and every trip holds its own special memories.

The Bahamas – crystal clear water that almost doesn’t look real

Grenada – quieter and less touristy, with lush scenery and such a peaceful, hidden-gem feel.

Antigua and Barbuda – endless beaches (literally 365, one for every day of the year) and the prettiest soft sand.

Saint Lucia – dramatic mountains + ocean views, one of the most breathtaking places we’ve ever been. We don’t do repeat trips much, but would go back here!

Dominican Republic – such a fun mix of relaxation and adventure, with so much culture to experience. We want to take the kids here one day.

Also enjoyed: Jamaica, U.S. Virgin Islands, and British Virgin Islands (hard to beat the dreamy waters + laid back life of Jost Van Dyke!!)

These were all separate trips. We didn’t see these on a cruise, we spent intentional days in each place, soaking it all in.

What’s your favorite Caribbean destination and why?
There’s just something about baseball season that There’s just something about baseball season that feels like home ⚾️

We’re so excited to have baseball back at Tropicana Field — and yes, the roof is looking GOOD

Getting up close with the live rays in the outfield is a family fave.

We’re loyal to our Cubbies over here (generations deep) so please excuse the gear, but we’ll always have love for our hometown Tampa Bay Rays.

Grateful to call Tampa Bay home and soak up nights like this!
Easter brunch, but make it competitive. 🏆 Some fa Easter brunch, but make it competitive. 🏆

Some families bring dessert. Ours bring the family game Olympics to every holiday gathering. (and I’m totally here for it!)

I grew up in a family that loves games, and then I married into one too—which means every holiday turns into the most fun kind of chaos.

So thankful for my in-laws for planning and organizing such a fun Easter day for all of us!

And most importantly, so thankful Jesus is alive.

Because of Him, we have hope, grace, and a love that changes everything. I’m so grateful He saved us and gave us something far greater than moments like these. He gave us eternity.

Hope your Easter was full of joy, laughter, and celebrating our Risen Savior.
There was a version of our family that didn’t incl There was a version of our family that didn’t include her, and I can’t even picture it now.

She was our surprise third - the one we didn’t plan for, but God absolutely did. She didn’t just join our family, she changed it.

She brings the kind of joy you can feel the second she walks into a room.

She talks to anyone, loves everyone, and invites people to church like it’s her life mission.

She reminds me what all of this is for.
Not just the date nights, getaways, and intentional weekends, but a home full of life, laughter, and kids who know Jesus.

Happy Birthday to the one who made our family fuller than we ever imagined. 🩷
Marriage isn’t just about happiness, it’s about ho Marriage isn’t just about happiness, it’s about holiness.

Yes, joy matters (and that joy comes from the Lord) but more than that, God is using your marriage to shape you, refine you, and make you more like Him.

Your marriage isn’t just a relationship, it’s your ministry.

If you’re in the little kid phase at the beach…I s If you’re in the little kid phase at the beach…I see you.

The snacks, the throwing of sand at a sibling, the constant watching, more snacks.

But one day, they grab their own snacks.
They make friends with the kids next to you and happily play for hours.
They remember to drink water when they’re thirsty.
And you look up and realize…
you’re having an actual conversation with your husband again.

Not a full getaway. Not a perfect date.
But a moment in between building sandcastles and looking for shells with the kids.

No words. No explanation. No warning.

And now I’m over here scanning the entire horizon like I’m in a crime investigation trying to figure out WHAT I was supposed to see… meanwhile we’re already past it.

Like sir… was it a cute dog? An old muscle car? A man playing the banjo on a ladder?? I will never know.
An evening celebrating women who build, lead, and An evening celebrating women who build, lead, and lift others up. 🌷

Last night my friend @caroline.cannici and I attended the 7th annual TogetHER event at the stunning @hydehousepublicstudio in @hydeparkvillage , and it was such an inspiring way to celebrate Women’s History Month.

There was a powerhouse panel of women! From an author @ayanagabriellelage to a yoga studio @the.shack.life entrepreneur, nonprofit CEO (Patty O’Leary), and marketing agency @teliaagency founder - who shared insights on mentorship, getting over impostor syndrome, juggling motherhood & business, and the importance of women supporting other women.

Loved shopping the vendors in attendance: @stoneyclover , @kendrascott , @albisiajewelry , @reformation, and @visage.elan .

Add in curated bites from @eatforbici , tea from @buddybrewcoffee , drinks from @bouzytampa , and the cutest gift bag, and it was such a special night!

Grateful for spaces that bring women together for conversation, connection, and community. 🤍

If you’re in the middle school or little kid trenc If you’re in the middle school or little kid trenches right now—sports, toddlers, early bedtimes, homework help, snack requests every 12 minutes, and calendars that revolve around school pickup or extracurriculars, you don’t have to wait 10 years to reconnect with your husband.

You deserve time together now, not just when the kids are older.

Even one kid-free weekend a year or a simple staycation in your own city can do wonders for your marriage!

You talk more, laugh more, & remember why you liked each other in the first place.

Your kids benefit from seeing a marriage that’s prioritized, not postponed.

If planning a getaway feels overwhelming right now, I’ve got you!

I put together done-for-you weekend getaway itineraries to make it easy.

POV: you found the cutest drink on the beach and n POV: you found the cutest drink on the beach and now it’s your entire personality. 🥥

We found the cutest little shack right outside the @thehiatuscurio , just steps from the sand — and yes, we absolutely turned it into a full coconut photoshoot.

The @coconutshackclearwater serves freshly cracked organic coconuts flown in from Costa Rica. You can sip them as-is with fresh coconut water (hello beach mocktail 👏🏼) or level it up into a cocktail. We got a mojito mocktail and a margarita mocktail.

Cold, refreshing, + hydrating. Basically mandatory on a hot Florida beach day.

Tampa locals 👉🏼 You don’t need a flight to feel like you’re on vacation. Park, grab a coconut, walk across the street to the beach, and suddenly it’s giving “tropical getaway” energy.

Tag who you’re getting a coconut with! 🏝️ 🥥

Your kids are watching your marriage. Every hug. Your kids are watching your marriage.

Every hug.
Every kiss.
Every bum grab.
Every time you choose each other.

What feels “gross” to them now is actually giving them security.
It shows them marriage is safe.
It shows them what to look for one day.

The greatest gift you can give your kids is the example of a loving, Christ-centered marriage.

Even if they pretend to hate all the PDA. 😉

Save this as a reminder to love on your spouse in front of the kids today.
